Brown Sandy Beach Along the Coastline of Java Island, Tirtamaya Beach Indramayu

Java Island has many tourist destinations including beaches with white sand. However, beaches with white sand can generally only be found along the southern coastline of the island. While the northern coastline beaches in Java generally have the characteristics of brown sand.
Some popular beach tourism destinations in Java are the beaches around Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta such as Sundak Beach, Baron Beach, and Parangtritis Beach, also Pangandaran Beach in Ciamis, West Java.
Cirebon as a port city does not have a beach tourism destination but is quite rich in fishery resources. To just see the beach, Cirebon residents sometimes need to travel to neighboring cities like Indramayu.
Like other beaches along the northern coastline, Tirtamaya Beach in Indramayu has the characteristics of brown sand with a not-so-wide area. There isn't much to do on this beach besides looking at the sea and clouds from a distance.
